While the current versions of the CR-V Hybrid and Niro Hybrid both offer gas-electric powertrains, the Honda SUV makes more power. CR-V Hybrid owners can expect their vehicle to make 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. The Kia Niro Hybrid tops out at just 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.

Advanced Drivetrain

Both available 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid trims come with all-wheel drive and three driving modes. All versions of the Kia Niro Hybrid are only equipped with front-wheel drive.

Technology

Device Integration

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features in both the 2025 CR-V Hybrid and Kia Niro Hybrid. However, the CR-V Hybrid makes wireless connectivity for both suites  available in some versions. The Honda hybrid SUV also offers options for a Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless device charging.
