The Touring trim introduces some luxurious and convenient elements that further help make this top level CR-V stick out amongst its class. The light upgrades come through with high and low beam LED headlights with auto on/off functionality, and further supported by 5-LED fog lights. The Touring trim doesn’t feature any upgrades or add-ons in the performance and efficiency department. What still exists is forceful power out of its 1.5L, 16-valve, Direct Injection, DOHC, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine, and Real Time AWD that keeps you in control over any Ontario backroad, or when the weather turns south.
Efficient driving is bred out of the CVT connected to that engine, plus additional features like idle-stop and an ECON mode that’s activated through just the push of a button.
Safety
The safety features of this CR-V Touring see one big upgrade over the lower level EX-L trim. A Blind Spot Information system is added, working along with a Rear Cross Traffic Monitor system. This system works on your Display Audio system by alerting you if vehicles cross behind you when you’re backing up, and displaying alerts from the radar-based indicators that let you know when vehicles enter your blind spot when you’re in the midst of a lane change. This tops off all the previous safety offerings from the below trims like the ever-helpful Honda Sensing Technologies.
