Improved Off-Road Capability

The TrailSport version of the Honda Passport was originally designed to go off-road and take on challenging terrain. For the new model year, the 2025 Passport TrailSport picks up a more advanced all-wheel drive system, increased ground clearance and specially designed all-terrain tires.

“The all-new and completely redesigned Passport TrailSport embodies fun, toughness and adventure, redefining Honda’s rugged design and capability by combining new styling and increased off-road performance,” Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President Honda Canada, said in a press release. “The Passport TrailSport is our latest halo, off-road vehicle that doesn’t compromise everyday comfort and control with its new, rugged design and substantially enhanced capabilities.”

Additional Interior Space

One of the most popular changes made to the 2026 Passport TrailSport will be its increased interior space. Rear passengers will get more than an inch of extra legroom. Cargo volume has also improved for the new model.

When the rear seats are deployed for passengers, there will now be 1,246 litres to use, an increase of nearly 80 litres. Folding the rear seats down makes up to 2,356 litres of cargo volume available — 156 litres more than the previous Passport TrailSport model.

Advanced Technology

As rugged as the 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport is, it will also be equipped with some of the most advanced technology available. One of the new additions to the 2026 Passport Trailsport is a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument panel. Drivers will be able to customize the information displayed, like safety system status and vehicle telemetry data for additional confidence while off-road driving.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen is also standard equipment that will house multimedia functions, including:

  • Google Built-In
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • Wireless Android Auto
  • 4G Wi-Fi hotspot
