Q: How do I know what service my vehicle needs?

Q: What is the Maintenance Minder System?

A: Honda created the Maintenance Minder System to monitor your driving habits and conditions. Using this information, the Maintenance Minder determines your recommended service as needed and not based on a set schedule. When the oil life percentage reaches 15% the service indicator will identify which service is recommended for your vehicle. There are two types of symbols that are displayed on your odometer/trip display: Main symbols (A or B) and Sub symbols (one through six). Click Here to contact a service professional about your Maintenance Minder System.

Q: My oil life reads 40%, should I get an oil change?

A: No. When Honda created the Maintenance Minder System, it was to help you maximize the life of your oil. It's taking into consideration your driving habits, and not recommended to come in until at least 15%, however should you really wish to have your oil changed at 40% we can complete it for you.

Q: How do I get my radio code?

A: If you bought the vehicle new, there should be a credit card sized card in your glove box that says "Anti-Theft Identification Card". Your radio code will be 5 digits long and consist of only the numbers available on your radio preset buttons. If this card is not in your vehicle and you bought your vehicle from our location, give us a call and we can check your file for the code. If there is no code on file, you will have to come to the dealership so we can retrieve your radio serial number. In some rare cases the radio will have to be removed and a labor fee will be charged.

Q: What is the new tire tax?

A: As part of ongoing stewardship initiatives, the Ontario government has recently announced a new tire recycling fee program that started on September 1, 2009. The fee applies to each new tire sold in Ontario, either with a new vehicle sale or through replacement tire sales at a cost of $5.84 per tire (including spare tire). This program includes all tires designed for passenger cars, light trucks, motorcycles, and all terrain vehicles. As with other government instituted fees, this fee is subject to tax.
